The Transformation Begins!

If interest in technology is a barometer for future success, then the inaugural Dell EMC Casablanca Forum resoundingly shows North Africa is leading the pack!

The Forum, the first to be held in the region since Dell and EMC joined forces into the world’s largest private technology company, opened its doors at the iconic Casablanca Four Seasons Hotel, welcoming visitors from within Morocco as well as neighbouring countries, including Algeria, Tunisia, Senegal, Cameroon and Ivory coast.

Attendees, who ranged from business professionals and media pundits to technology evangelists and subject matter experts, came together to discuss and learn how technology is transforming the world around us. Dell EMC and its partners showcased the latest developments in their stables, as well as host seminars and networking sessions.

Arthur C Clarke once said that great technology can be indistinguishable from magic. The event’s opening entertainment, Moulla, couldn’t have agreed more. In front of a stunned audience, the professional magician pulled real objects out of virtual screens and bent attendees’ minds with his outrageous tricks.

More than 620 customers, partners and members of the media attended the exclusive event, which was hosted by Dell EMC Morocco. Visitors enjoyed the opportunity to participate in keynotes by Margaret Franco, Senior Vice President, Marketing Europe Middle East & Africa, and Driss El Ougmani, Vice President & General Manager Middle East, Africa & Turkey.

The Dell EMC Forum is a great way to engage with partners and customers, it is a forum for exchange of ideas how technology and solutions can help make businesses more efficient and competitive.”

They brought the message of modern transformation’s progress to attendees, who could reflect on how the changes affect their own business ambitions. Supporting the same efforts, the Moroccan Dell EMC team really brought the expo to life with enthusiastic partners, committed booth staff, and well run sessions with lots of participation.

Dell EMC would like to thank the Forum’s sponsors and partners, including Intel, Microsoft VMware, Toshiba, Nutanix, Mellanox Technologies, Disway, Atos, CBI, Ingram and Red Hat.

Casablanca’s first Dell EMC Forum is a qualified success, not only for the company, but for all of the region’s technology landscape. It sets the bar for the next Forum, which will be even bigger and bolder, working to bringing people together under the banner of transformation.
