Enhancing the Patient Care Journey with Dell’s Digital Intelligence

Join Dell Technologies at HIMSS23 to see how our technology solutions are enhancing the patient journey with digital intelligence.

The Dell Technologies Healthcare and Life Sciences team will participate in the HIMSS23 Global Health Conference and Exhibition, one of the largest healthcare events in the industry, from April 17 to 21. During the event, Dell Technologies will share our latest innovations in healthcare and life sciences, highlighting tailored solutions ranging from cyber recovery and healthcare digital workspaces to high-performance computing (HPC), AI and healthcare digital twin solutions. In addition, the booth schedule will feature speakers and partners with shared stories of healthcare digital transformation.

This year’s conference theme is “Health that Connects + Tech that Cares,” which is relevant as healthcare organizations focus on the road ahead post-pandemic. Dell Technologies is helping our customers and partners pivot quickly to overcome new clinical and business challenges in this environment.

At our booth, the Dell Technologies team will demonstrate how our technology solutions can, and are, helping healthcare organizations enhance the patient care journey with digital intelligence.

One of the highlights of our presence at the event this year is our Digital Patient Room Experience, a physical representation of a modern patient room. In the room, we demonstrate what can be done when edge sensors and other devices are combined with real-time compute and analytics – allowing clinical and business staff to work anywhere at any time. Our persona-based digital healthcare workspaces will dovetail with the patient room demonstration, showing how care providers can standardize, deploy and manage devices and applications on a single digital platform. We will also highlight end-user trusted devices, access and data with unified management and security to ensure simple and safe health technology management and provisioning – enabling the healthcare workforce of tomorrow.

Healthcare and life sciences organizations are increasingly running applications and workloads in multiple locations, making them multicloud by default. We’ve found most of these organizations need a solution that brings together the best of what public and private cloud have to offer. By moving to a “multicloud by design” model, Dell Technologies helps care providers strategically place clinical workloads where they belong: on-premises, in public clouds, as cloud adjacent or in co-location centers. For the first time at HIMSS23, we will showcase the Dell Alliances Healthcare Cloud: a purpose-built cloud solution for critical healthcare workloads, designed for compliance by combining the reliability of on-premises with the elasticity of cloud.

Personalized healthcare, also known as precision medicine, tailors treatment to the individual, using diagnostic and digital twin data to establish linkages between a patient’s DNA and therapies. Technology advances can help to further individualize care by accelerating time-to-insights to identify new ways to treat patients and manage diseases. HPC enables correlation between genomic data points and potential treatments, while utilizing decentralized clinical trials and HPC resources on demand can shorten the time to market of therapeutics and generate cost savings. Advanced analytics, AI at the edge and other innovative technologies can provide care providers with near real-time patient insights, accelerating the personalization of care. Our booth will showcase HPC specialists demonstrating our personalized health solutions in genomics, imaging, diagnostics and clinical and research areas.

It’s hard these days to talk about healthcare without addressing cybersecurity. Dell Technologies Secure Care is a comprehensive cyber resiliency strategy for staff, network, endpoints, data and recovery, built on a Zero Trust framework. We provide intrinsically secure infrastructure platforms and devices, data and threat protection, security tools and managed detection and response solutions to handle increasing threat sophistication. Dell Technologies ensures patient and business data are secure, protected and available before, during and after cyberattacks. Visit our booth for a demonstration highlighting the advantages of air-gapped secure cyber recovery solutions.

Industry-leading healthcare technology infrastructure from Dell Technologies underpins all these scalable solutions, including the Dell Alliances Healthcare Cloud. Dell APEX delivers these solutions as a service, increasing IT agility and control while simplifying acquisition and management. APEX provides cloud-like experiences and can be delivered as a service across various architectures. This makes it easier than ever to leverage Dell Technologies innovation when and where you want it, while easing or eliminating infrastructure management. Dell APEX provides cloud-like experiences and can be delivered as a service across multicloud, multi-edge, public and cloud adjacent architectures. We will have our APEX for healthcare experts available in the booth to discuss our solutions and answer questions.
