  • Our Approach

Partnering with global expert in converged infrastructure

MRI DCS held meetings with vendors based on three platform requirements: functionality, reliability, and cost. The service platform for FINEQloud needed to be highly scalable, and reduce operations and maintenance so that the company could focus its efforts on developing new services for its clients. A single vendor was crucial to improve efficiency. The Dell EMC team, consisting of the Financial Service Account Sales and Systems Engineering Group and Dell EMC Services consultants, worked closely with MRI DCS to understand their business direction and vision. The team demonstrated their experience working with partners in financial services and understood the strict industry regulations and checklists. Crucial to its decision-making were the advantages of deploying pre-tested and verified purpose built converged infrastructure that is performance optimized. For MRI DCS, this meant quicker deployment and faster time to market for its FINEQloud service.

After evaluating Dell EMC’s track record in converged infrastructure, MRI DCS selected Dell EMC Enterprise Hybrid Cloud (EHC) consisting of Dell EMC converged infrastructure, storage, and a VMware cloud. The solution seamlessly integrates with existing systems and provides a high quality, flexible service platform that is pre-tested and verified, reducing deployment time. Dell EMC began the deployment of the service platform for FINEQloud, and within six months of its completion the FINEQloud service was ready to launch.

  • Outcomes

Delivering efficient, reliable single platform for cloud-based services

The Dell EMC solutions including converged infrastructure, all-flash storage, and unified storage work seamlessly together as a single storage pool to deliver optimal efficiency in balancing performance and cost for MRI DCS’ clients. Making gains in operational efficiencies in turn means efficient and optimized services delivered to its clients.

    Improving business agility and flexibility

As a managed cloud solution, FINEQloud appeals to a range of enterprise clients. MRI DCS has the flexibility to quickly adapt its FINEQloud service for building and testing in four weeks versus 3 months in its previous environment, and meet specific customer needs. The company plans to invest in expanding its platform-as-a-service offering.

    Accelerating digital transformation journey

The cloud-based approach has reduced operating costs, and management and maintenance time, enabling MRI DCS to focus on new services and its digital business plans. With Dell EMC as a partner, MRI DCS is set to accelerate its digital business and proactively grow its cloud-based services. MRI DCS views FINEQloud as playing a key role as it capitalizes on the increasing opportunities for new digital services.
