In modern organizations, all employees are working with desktops or notebooks. A workstation, however, differs from this setup. Workstations are used where employees need better performance than an average system can deliver. More CPU power, for instance, or better graphical performance.
Organizations use workstations to utilize professional applications. The computers are optimized for those applications and will provide the stability and reliability that are needed.

Hybrid workers
In this video, Thomas talks about collaboration tools. A lot of companies are moving towards a hybrid way of working, where not everyone is always present in the office at the same time. Nowadays, there is a need to collaborate with distant colleagues, and at the same time isolate yourself from colleagues sitting next to you in order to not disturb them. According to Thomas, this way of collaboration can be a challenge for office departments. “A lot of meeting rooms don’t have these specific collaboration solutions. Dell Technologies has the right tools.”
Finally, Thomas addresses the market for rugged devices in this short video. “This segment is a very specialized one, but it is really growing fast. Dell Technologies delivers devices for every environment.”
