The Texas Advanced Computing Center supports the University of Texas System and National Science Foundation researchers with the newest version of their Wrangler high performance computing cluster. Wrangler is their first at-scale Hadoop big data analytics platform from Dell EMC, Intel and Cloudera technologies, to tackle researchers’ diverse and complex workloads. The system is built on Dell EMC PowerEdge R630 servers, rack scale DSSD D5 flash storage and Intel Xeon E5 2680 V3 processors.
