Our Cloud Suitability and placement analysis will determine which placement model is best for your business, public, private, or hybrid. You will learn how we prioritize applications according to business value, and best disposition for saving cost, which can include modernizing, migrating, retiring, or retaining as-is. We can also perform a TCO analysis to compare the cost of running the application in current and future state.

The service is composed of four profiling activities and an interdependent dependency analysis activity, each of which brings your business one step closer to realizing the true value of an efficient application portfolio.
In this step, we select a maximum of 30 applications and classify each of them into one of four categories: mission critical, business critical, business essential and operational.
Here we choose 15 of the classified applications and determine whether they should be modernized, migrated, retired or retained.
Once the disposition analysis is complete, we assess up to 15 applications for their cloud suitability in the right cloud infrastructure – public, private or hybrid.
For up to five of the applications that are suitable for the cloud, we make specific recommendations about their placement with appropriate cloud service providers.
