The Magic Quadrant for Integrated Systems serves as a  tremendous validation for us in that converged infrastructures can help customers transform the economics, agility and profitability of their infrastructures as they transition to cloud-enabled business models.

What’s more, our leadership position is a testament to VCE’s focus on exceptional customer experience, groundbreaking innovation and simplifying the journey to the cloud.

While all of us at VCE are thrilled that the Vblock true converged infrastructure is being recognized by one of the world’s leading analyst firms, we’re even more proud of the numerous customer success stories that have fueled Vblock System adoption across the globe.

Sure, Vblock Systems provide seamless integration of best-of-breed data center technology – along with our own unique technology innovations through the VCE Vision Intelligent Operations software. But as much as customers want the best technology, they want results.

Customers want solutions that extend beyond incremental benefits. CIOs are seeking transformational solutions to help them gain agility and efficiency to serve the business.

And that’s what the VCE experience is all about.

The Vblock System technology is only part of what makes VCE special.  There’s a lot that goes into delivering a true converged infrastructure experience – from engineering to manufacturing to support to management and beyond.  And while we live and breathe this philosophy every day, what gets us really revved up is when our customers understand and embrace this idea.

Fox Sports Australia is a great example.  This a company that broadcasts 23 hours of live sports to 2.3 million homes every day, and one that must move fast to capture market share in live sports programming, while reducing the risk inherent in deploying and operating a very visible production environment.

The company adopted VCE Vblock Systems for a new datacenter infrastructure, and almost immediately saw results – IT support calls reduced by 75%, operational costs reduced and core applications had better performance.  In the words of Michael Tompkins, Fox Sports Australia’s CTO, “consumers actually receive coverage faster through the Vblock System on the Internet than they do on their TV at home.”

Another great story is how Eclipse Aerospace transformed its data center into an agile, highly efficient virtualized environment by working with VCE.  The process consolidated the three computer rooms of data center equipment into three racks with excess capacity on the Vblock System. They significantly saved on power, air conditioning and space, as well as reserved room to grow.

Every industry relies on IT resources for services and applications that keep their businesses running. By focusing on the customer’s experience and needs, we simplified the operation and management of IT resources, helping customers get back to what really matters – delivering innovative technology to drive business value and advance their company’s mission.

With dramatic improvements in agility, availability and reliability, we’ve transformed how enterprises manage, operate and understand IT. But we’re just getting started! Incredible things certainly happen here!
