VCE Certifications Transform Next-Gen Cloud Skills for Partners and Customers

Over the last four years the IT industry has witnessed the powerful impact of converged infrastructure. VCE Vblock™ Systems engineered, manufactured, managed, supported and sustained as a single product have enabled customers to realize impressive results in IT agility and cost savings. However, achieving transformative results requires not only new architecture, but also the next-generation skills to operate in a converged environment.

The new VCE™ Certified Professionals Program provides the skills and knowledge necessary for the next-generation of cloud experts to accelerate the transformational benefits of converged infrastructures. The Certified Professionals will vastly improve the enterprise application and cloud service deployment speed and efficiency utilizing cross-domain expertise, rather than component-level skillsets.

The benefits don’t stop at the customer – the VCE Certified Professional Program is essential for partners as well. Becoming a VCE Certified Professional will validate partner expertise and increase revenue opportunities for partners by enabling them to provide transformational services and solutions to their customers.

Over the last year VCE has been expanding its partner enablement program to better serve our ecosystem. Partners that have invested time in training and certifying their technical experts based on VCE intellectual property and best practices can better serve their customers by developing and innovating their solutions to provide transformational benefits.

In addition, customers are looking for partner validation before making investments in IT technology. The VCE Certified Professional Program validates a partner’s expertise to provide services. Partners that have mastered skills beyond a single domain are able to strengthen customer trust and credibility as well as increase their revenue potential.

The certification program is broken up into three tracks: Design, Deploy and Manage. Each track will allow VCE customers and partners to focus on how they will engage VCE Vblock Systems:

  • Design Track – Partners that provide design services and solutions that interact with Vblock Systems will be particularly interested in this track, which validates professionals in converged infrastructure design and understanding customer requirements.
  • Deploy Track – Partners and customers involved with implementing Vblock Systems will want to be certified in this track, which validates expertise in deploying all Vblock System components and ensuring proper test validation and system security.
  • Manage Track – Partners that offer management services and customers operating Vblock Systems will want to be validated in this track to ensure their knowledge in managing converged infrastructure systems and utilizing resources and software to meet user requirements.

Data center transformation demands more than technology; it also needs professionals equipped with the technical and operational expertise for managing converged infrastructures. The VCE Certified Professionals Program will accelerate truly transformational results by enabling customers and partners to build a strong foundation in next-generation enterprise cloud computing.
