If you are of the drag and drop culture and prefer printing on the fly,
try placing shortcuts for your printer or printers on the desktop. To
do so, go to the Start button find the Control Panel and open the Printers icon. You can even use this browser to access your Printers folder by typing “control panel\printers” in the URL area. Inside the Printers folder, right-click each printer icon that you would like to access from the desktop and select Create Shortcut
from the resulting menu. Now with the printer icons located on your
desktop, you can easily print by simply select a document, dragging it
to the desktop and dropping it on the desired printer icon. It will be
immediately sent to the printer.
