Searching for America’s Favorite Small Business

America's Favorite Small BusinessFrom cupcake
shops and lawyers to tech start-ups and designers, small businesses are a vital
part of the American dream. That’s why we want to celebrate the
entrepreneurship of Small Businesses!

Dell, in
partnership with Microsoft and MasterCard, has launched America’s Favorite
Small Business. Our contest invites you to create and submit a YouTube video
that shares your unique story, and tells the nation why your small business is
#1. America’s Favorite Small Business celebrates small business owners who are
creative, inspired, forward thinking, and hard working. Dell, Microsoft, and
MasterCard want to give you the tools you need to be successful and thrive!

Here’s how it works: from our pool of candidates 10 finalists will be
selected, but it’s America who will ultimately decide on the winner! The grand
prize winner will receive $25,000 in Dell products, pre-loaded with Windows 7
Professional & Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010.  In addition, they will receive a $50,000
prepaid card from MasterCard, and an online reality show to promote their small
business.

We’ve asked inspiring entrepreneurs to share their stories
of how they grew from modest means to thriving businesses through their use of modern
technology.  For instance, OPI Executive Vice President
& Artistic Director, Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, widely known as the “first lady of nails”
led her family-run nail lacquer business from a “rubber-band special” to a
multi-million dollar operation. Getting her start 30 years ago, Suzi has seen advancements
in technology like social media, search, mobility and electronic payment
transmission provide OPI the opportunity to grow into the top global brand it
is today.
