Right Here, Right Now: Dell and the Power to Do More at VMworld 2012.

With VMworld 2012 a week away, Dell will be there to empower customers with the knowledge, the tech know-how and the Dell best practices to enable end-to-end solutions. VMworld represents an opportunity for Dell to showcase its comprehensive solutions in a wide range of conversations, hands-on demos and presentations. Dell invites customers in attendance to join the discussion in Dell Booth #1412 and Dell Wyse Booth #1523. Michael Dell at VMworld 2012VMworld runs from August 26th to August 30th with the Solutions Expo Floor opening on Sunday at 4PM. After the Solutions Expo walk on Sunday night, the vFun truly begins. And the beginning of VMworld features Michael Dell participating in the CEO Round Table Panel on Monday, August 27th, from 4:00-5:00PM. This session is hosted by Paul Maritz, former VMware CEO, and will include a CEO panel discussion on how Cloud Computing transforms IT departments into strategic assets for their businesses.

In between the Dell Solutions Expo Floor conversations and the break-out sessions, DTC will host its annual User Group Event for customers and community members at VMworld 2012. DTCUG-ip takes place on Tuesday, August 28th, from 4:30-7PM. DTC is a Community of IT Pros and our event consists of a series of technical presentations by the subject matter experts (SMEs) in Virtualization and Cloud. Topics encompass vStorage APIs for Storage Awareness (VASA) with Dell Compellent, ESXi 5.1 performance best practices and data gravity. The VMworld experience can be overwhelming with the information overload and the physical demands. There is a lot of walking and a lot of talking.
