Paas and IaaS Will Become More Open, Seamless and Resilient

As enterprises transition to cloud-based infrastructure and software-defined business models, there is an urgent need to make PaaS and IaaS work better together. Both enable organizations to innovate quickly today, but there are still kinks to be ironed out for enterprises to optimize their existing technology investments and build out new platforms. The two open source giants in these arenas are Cloud Foundry and OpenStack, and both are redrawing the future in influential ways. I had the opportunity to talk about all of this and what it means for customers and EMC with John Furrier and Stu Miniman of theCube at the OpenStack Summit in Vancouver.
