Members of Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and WEConnect International Partner with Dell to “Pay it Forward”

Members of Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and WEConnect International announced they would join forces with Dell for our “Pay It Forward” campaign, a new initiative led by Dell, to mobilize successful women business owners and leaders to help more than one million aspiring women entrepreneurs by the end of 2015.

“Women’s entrepreneurship is on the rise and the commitment of leading businesses such as Dell will ensure a path to continued success,” said Pamela Prince Eason, CEO of WBENC.  “This commitment of strong leadership from the Dell network coupled with the network of high capacity women entrepreneurs who are part of the WBENC and WEConnect organizations will result in relationships and innovations that will change the lives of many.  WBENC is proud to support Dell’s “Pay it Forward” initiative!”

"All business women have some level of purchasing power, knowledge and networks that we can and we must share with other women.  Now is the time to connect and share and act on all that we have to offer the world," Elizabeth Vasquez, president of WEConnect.

The 10,000 members of the Dell Women’s Entrepreneur Network, Women Powering Business community and Wise Dell team member network will join WBENC and WEConnect to each help at least 10 women entrepreneurs over the next two years, who in turn are being asked to help 10 more. Through financial support or time or both, women will receive help to improve their access to the knowledge, technology, capital and networks they need to reach their full potential. Mentoring a woman entrepreneur, participating on a woman-led company’s board, donating to women-led companies through angel investments or simply having a cup of coffee with a female founder and sharing a few of your contacts with her are just a few ways to participate in Dell’s “Pay it Forward” movement.

The portal on www.Dell.com/payitforward will track member commitments, help identify opportunities to participate, share information about organizations and communities that support women and girls, particularly in entrepreneurship, and report progress against the overall goal of helping one million women by the end of 2015.

Log in and join the movement today! If you have questions or comments, we’d love to hear from you!
