KACE Closed!

Less than two weeks after we announced the agreement to acquire KACE, a world-class systems management appliance company based in Mountain View, California, KACE is officially part of Dell.

We’ve worked with KACE for almost two years and are very excited to add the KACE products to our systems management portfolio. The KBOX family of appliances are highly capable, quick to deploy, simple to use and offer rapid ROI – important criteria for any IT investment today.

KACE’s offerings – KBOX 1000 series of system management appliances and the KBOX 2000 series of system deployment appliances – are geared for the IT generalist who is responsible for a large range of IT management tasks and requires a solution that is both broad in functionality and easy to use. For mid-sized businesses and public organizations, this is one more example of how Dell is delivering valued technology solutions that meet the specific needs of customers.

KACE leadership including Rob Meinhardt, CEO and co-founder, and Marty Kacin, CTO, co-founder and head of KACE development, plus a team of 125 employees worldwide are now part of the Dell team.
