Introducing Dell4Enterprise

Change is not to be feared but embraced. As many of you have likely noted Dell has undergone some significant changes in the recent past. We’ve evolved into an end-to-end solutions provider and will continue to expand and add technology and solutions for customers in the coming quarters and years. Along this journey a number of exciting companies have joined the Dell family, bringing exceptional talent, tools and ideas to the Dell portfolio. These changes have allowed us to give our customers a best-in-class portfolio of solutions and offerings to address any and all of their informational technology needs, from the smallest office to the largest hyperscale data farm. The biggest change of all, of course, is the recent completion of Dell’s move to once again become a private company, which allows us to accelerate our push deeper into the enterprise with a longer-term horizon.

In order to serve our audience better and account for this new, larger footprint of Dell solutions – from infrastructure to software and services – we decided it was time for another change. We saw the need for a central home for enterprise-related blogs. And so we bring you Dell4Enterprise. Complementing Direct2Dell, D4E will be a single, reliable resource for our audience of customers, partners, and curious readers to stay up to date on the technology and innovative thinking coming out of the Dell Enterprise group. Over the coming weeks and months, you can expect to find videos from our Tech Shorts series, highlights from Dell World, news surrounding next year’s product announcements, and some thought provoking posts from executives at Dell who are shaping the future of Dell enterprise offerings.

Dell4Enterprise replaces Inside Enterprise IT, the former site for enterprise technology-related blog posts at Dell. In most respects, the mission of D4E will be the same as IEIT, and you will be able to discover all of the same great content. The key difference is that we will now be sure to include all enterprise-related content on this blog, including major product launches and key announcements, rather than posting some of that content on Direct 2 Dell.

In a continued effort to streamline our social media content, you will be able to access our Twitter feeds directly from Dell4Enterprise. You will have the ability to choose one domain – networking, storage, servers, or converged infrastructure, or you can follow all four! We encourage you to not only follow us on Twitter, but on Facebook as well, and share in our conversations.

We hope to see you here often, and encourage you to subscribe to the RSS feed so you don’t miss a single post. These are exciting times for Dell, and we are delighted to be directly involved in bringing you news and information from Dell’s Enterprise Solutions Group. We are thrilled to be a part of the “world’s largest startup” and we hope you come along for the ride!
