EMC Online Support offers you the ability to initiate a live chat and or submit a service request in seconds from the “My Products” area of Online Support.
To access My Support > My Products:
- (1) Hover on the “Support” tab on support.emc.com and click on “My Support.”
- (2) View products at Sites associated to your profile. Select a Site if you have more than one Site associated to your profile:
- (3) To submit a Service Request from “My Products” hover over a product row and click the down arrow to view a menu of options for the highlighted product. Please select the “Create a Service Request” option.
- (4) When you choose the “Create a Service Request” option, a request form will display with the product information and site ID pre-populated, saving you time by simplifying and streamlining the process.
- (5) To join Live Chat from “My Products” hover over a product row and click the down arrow to select the “Join Live Chat” option.
- (6) When you choose the “Join Live Chat” option, you will be presented with the Live Chat form.
