Exactly one week from today, Paris will be flooded with Dell customers, partners, and employees, all geared up to kick off the second EMEA Dell Storage Forum. Like our Dell Storage Forums in the past, the social media conversations and activities will be in full swing! Here are a few helpful tips for those of you attending the event to get plugged in and for those of you at home to play along!
Social Set-up – Join the conversation from anywhere!
- For real-time updates from the event be sure to follow our twitter account, @DellSF! The hashtag for the event is #DellSF – be sure to add it to your tweets, posts, images, etc. If you’re following the event remotely try using Tweetchat to keep up with the conversation.
- Our social “home-base” for the event will be the Dell Storage Forum Facebook page. We will be posting links to the latest DSF blogs here! Don’t be shy – like us and add your blogs and pictures to our wall.
- The Fluid Forward story will be told through our Storify page. From Keynote videos to twitter highlights, you’ll feel like you’re in Paris! Also, photos and videos from the event will be posted to our Flickr site, courtesy of FitToTweet.
- Interested in the plenary sessions being held at DSF? Don’t worry; you won’t have to miss out! All three sessions will be live streamed from Paris.
- For those registered for the event, be sure to download the mobile app on arrival. Don’t forget to play the scavenger hunt game and check in at sessions, parties, labs, and conference activities!
Social happenings in Paris
- On Wednesday, November 14, we will be hosting a Fluid Forward Think Tank. This event will consists of 10 storage industry influencers who will be discussing industry trends and hot topics. Join the conversation by using the event hashtag, #FluidForward, and watch the event live here!
- Need to get off your feet? Head down to the Fluid Lounge. Recharge your machine, upload your videos and images from the day, and connect with the Dell social media storage community. Meet some of the best known EMEA storage bloggers – Barry Coombs, Fabio Rapposelli, Andrew Mauro, & Bruno Sousa.
- For a little more community fun, join us for #StorageBeers! To be held on Wednesday, November 14, at 9:00pm, immediately following the Welcome Celebration, at Havane Café. The whole gang will be walking over so get ready for great conversations with a few old friends and lots of new ones!
