First Retail Expansion Plans in Mexico & Brazil

Last week on DellenDirecto, Phil Bryant, Dell's VP of consumer sales in the Americas posted details about our retail expansion into Mexico and Brazil, which we'll start by offering systems through Wal-Mart.

Dell began offering Dimension E520 and E521 desktops lin Wal-Mart stores last week. These desktops will be manufactured at our new plant in Hortolandia, Brazil. In the post, Phil also mentioned that Dell customers in Mexico will soon be able to purchase certain Inspiron desktop and notebook models in Wal-Mart Supercenter, Sam's Club stores and Bodega Aurrera. I'll update the post with products specifics when those details are available.

This development is a natural extension of our existing partnership with Wal-Mart in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
