Apparently we wanted to keep it under wraps because I didn’t hear about this until my wife called me the other day and said Ellen DeGeneres just gave away a bunch of Dell computers. So I did a little research and it turns out she gave away our 2nd Gen Intel® powered Inspiron 15R laptops during one of her 12 Days of Giveaways. For those who aren’t in the know, The Ellen DeGeneres Show is a 32 Emmy Award winning production and is the number one daytime talk show in the US and is syndicated around the world.
Out of the hundreds of brands sent for consideration, Ellen and her team selected the Dell laptop with personalized switchable lids along with other cool gifts like a Sony Playstation 3 and $200 worth of Starbucks. So not only can the audience get hopped up on coffee while they play video games but they can also wirelessly stream their music in high def sound.

Judging from the audience’s reaction to hearing that they were going home with a Dell Inspiron laptop, I think it is safe to say they were very excited. It looks like it almost brought one of the audience members to tears she was so excited. Can spot her in the video?
