Dell World Will Keep Austin Rocking with Duran Duran and Weezer

While the Austin City Limits (ACL) Music Festival may have just wrapped its second weekend, and RollingStone has already shared their opinion on the 10 best things at the event, the music doesn’t stop here in Dell’s home town.

Possibly lost in all that ACL Fest crowd, was the announcement that Duran Duran and Weezer will headline Dell World next month!

With more than 100 million records sold, 18 American hit singles, and 30 UK top 20 tunes, Duran Duran made a mark that I still hear my friends talking about as they post on Facebook their excitement about going to see the band’s recent David Lynch-directed film “Duran Duran: Unstaged” or getting their copy of the “Live from London” DVD delivered.

But, Duran Duran haven’t only been making movies lately.

“The record is coming along great,” producer Nile Rodgers recently told Billboard magazine when talking about Duran Duran’s new studio album due to release next year “I couldn’t be happier to be working with my band again.”

And they’re not the only Dell World headliner putting out new music. Weezer just released their 9th album of “quirky alternative-rock” earlier this month and according to critics, “It’s OK to Like Weezer Again.”

“These are probably the songs I've been most excited about in a while,” Weezer bassist Scott Shriner recently told SFGate. Rolling Stone like them, too, giving the album 4/5 stars!

And if you join us at Dell World, you’ll get the chance to hear them for yourself! There are only 22 days until this annual event filled with more than 50 immersive breakout sessions and inspiring keynote presentations begins.

If you are already registered, you can begin planning your schedule now to ensure you don’t miss the topics that are important to you and your business. If you aren’t registered yet, you’ve got all the more reason to do it now!
