I hope some of you have seen my initial post regarding Dell World 2011. I wanted to spend a few minutes to let you know that we have two additions to the speaker lineup for the event in October, former White House Chief Information Officer Vivek Kundra and IDC's Michelle Bailey.

Vivek Kundra is now a fellow at Harvard University. He was the first CIO of the United States government appointed by President Obama in March 2009. Vivek will follow Michael Dell's keynote at the event.

The other addition to the speaker lineup is Michelle Bailey, the Research Vice President for IDC’s Enterprise Platforms and Datacenter Trends. Her team's main purpose is to forecast the adoption of mature and disruptive datacenter infrastructure. They also help IT buyers evaluate the impact of future technologies on their IT strategy, operations and facilities. She will join Brad Anderson, senior vice president of Dell’s Enterprise Solutions group, for a keynote focused on the latest in data center trends.

Beyond the new speakers, the Dell World agenda is now posted on the Dell World 2011 site. Augmenting the packed agenda is entertainment featuring Austin-favorite Seth Walker for the 1,200 expected attendees.

As a reminder, Dell World 2011 will take place at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas, from Oct. 12-14, 2011. Take a look at my original Dell World 2011 post for more information.
