Dell Storage User Group New England Meeting 9/29

If you are in the US, and you are a Dell Storage user, wouldn’t you like to meet up with the rest of the Dell Storage user community? We’re bringing the user community together to share best practices, and to provide you with the latest innovations that Dell has brought to the storage family. The goal of these user groups is to create an open technology discussion about how to best use the technologies.  Our first round will focus on the Dell EqualLogic line of storage but subsequent sessions will expand to include the entire storage portfolio.

We’re kicking off the series in New England. On September 29, we’ll be at the Microsoft Office in Waltham will focus on the new capabilities and features of Dell EqualLogic Auto-Snapshot Manager Microsoft®  Edition 4.0 (ASM/ME 4.0) including:

  • Simplified management of all Exchange ®, SQL, Hyper-V™ and other Windows® hosts in an environment with a new centralized GUI and introduction of HIT groups. 
  • Centralized management of snapshots, iSCSI connections, MPIO, and other SAN-related integration points for multiple hosts in an EqualLogic environments.
  • How remote installation enables deployment of ASM/ME to remote hosts.
  • Enhancements to support for Clustered Shared Volumes for improving your options for Hyper-V™ data protection, including snapshots and replicas.
