Dell has good reason to be proud this week.  For the eighth year in a row, the company scored a perfect 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index. What does this mean? It means that Dell has maintained its long-term commitment to current and potential team members that our culture and policies ensure equal opportunity, benefits and protection for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender colleagues.

The ranking also validates alignment of Dell’s career-development and training programs with the company’s overall diversity goals and people strategy.  Dell’s Employee Resource Groups, which help team members connect and engage with people around the globe, are an example of that strategy.

Dell’s continuing commitment to diversity and inclusion is a vital element of our culture. An important tenet of our values is the guaranty that every team member has an equal opportunity for professional success, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, personal expressions or other individual characteristics.
