The biggest K-12 #edtech conference in the US, #ISTE2015, kicks off this weekend.  Attendance in 2014 broke records with over 16,000 attendees and expectations for 2015 are even higher.  Dell is excited to be a Gold sponsor at this year’s ISTE conference. This annual event is a hands-on showcase of the latest and greatest in education technology for all grade levels. How Student Tech Support Programs Help Close the IT Skills Gap

On Monday, June 29th, 12:45 – 1:45 in room 201BC, we’ll be hosting a spotlight session about how innovative school districts are providing experiential learning opportunities for students and youth while expanding IT help by implementing student technology programs. District leaders and students from the School District of Philadelphia, Leyden High School District 212 and J. Sterling Morton High School District 201 will share their experiences participating in apprenticeship programs that teach real-world technology skills, support the day to day learning environment and prepare students for success in a modern workforce.

Each day of the show we’ll host a variety of innovative education thought leaders and practitioners for an immersive learning experience highlighting best practices in teaching and learning.  We are excited to feature informative sessions on a range of topics including 1:1 best practices, professional learning experiences, innovative learning space designs, and much more.  You can find a full schedule of activities on our Dell @ ISTE event page.

You can also visit room 110 to explore Dell’s latest instructional tools which provide a flexible learning experience that meets the needs of today’s learners. On Monday, June 29 from 9:45 – 10:45 Dell’s education experts will lead a demonstration of the latest student computing devices, including laptops, Chromebooks and tablets, the new s510 interactive projector and more.
