Dell Education and Intel Host #DellVenue at SXSWedu

Our education team and Intel will be hosting the #DellVenue, the hottest pop-up for education technology conversations and connections in town, in Brush Square Park today – Wednesday. The #DellVenue is super modern, totally wired and stocked with the latest Dell technology to boost productivity and spark creativity. Come hang out at the #DellVenue to catch-up on email, meet with colleagues and play with our new line of products.  

We’ll also have a series of sessions, networking opportunities and conversations outlined below. Stop by and see us any time! If you’re not planning to attend SXSWedu, but located in Austin, you can register for free access to the Education Expo and the #DellVenue here on Tuesday, March 4 beginning at 2pm.

  • Monday, March 3, 2014: Noon – 6pm*

    • 5-6pm: #StuVoice meet-up to chat about authentic incorporation of student perspectives into business.
  • Tuesday, March 4, 2014: 11am – 6pm

    • 12-1pm: Lunch & Learning through Gaming: David Conover, teacher at John B. Connally High School in Pflugerville ISD, and his students will demonstrate the games they created this semester and discuss how video games are advancing STEM in school.    
    • 2-4pm: Mix and Mingle for Good: Learn about the great work Dell Youth Learning partners are doing in the community and ways to support their organizations.   
    • 4-6pm: Drinks and #edtech Discoveries
  • Wednesday, March 5, 2014: 9am – 6pm*

    • 9-10:30am: Innovation in Teaching & Learning Think Tank focused on empowering the student voice. Watch here.
    • 1:30 – 3:00pm: Innovation in Teaching & Learning in Central Texas Think Tank. Watch here.
