Dell at Oracle Open World 2013: Are you ready for this?

When you attend a big game or a concert for your favorite artist, do you wait until the last minute, grab your car keys and go? Of course not! You prepare, because you don’t want to miss a single opportunity. You want to enjoy every aspect of the event. Well Oracle Open World is no different. You have made a large investment to attend this conference and whether you attend in person or virtually, Dell wants to make sure you get the most from your commitment.

The Dell team has been planning for months to ensure you receive expert knowledge on the full portfolio of Dell solutions. We have also been working to provide you with specific solution enhancements as a result of our recently-announced expanded worldwide alliance with Oracle. We know the importance of this event and we have prepared a full program that will surpass your expectations.

When you arrive at Oracle Open World, here are a few things you don’t want to miss:

Please touch the exhibits

This year, Dell has two exhibit spaces, our main exhibit at 1211 Moscone South and a second exhibit in the Oracle Linux and Virtualization Pavilion at 2021 Moscone South. Our primary goal this year is to highlight the full portfolio of options that include server, storage, networking,  software and services designed to bring enhanced value to your Oracle environment.  There will be many systems on display, all available for your inspection so feel free to touch and ask questions. Our experts don’t bite.

Demonstrations include, PowerEdge VRTX, Dell Active Infrastructure, Dell Networking S6000, Power Edge M1000e Blade Enclosures, FluidCache for DAS,  EqualLogic storage, PowerEdge PCIe Express Flash SSD and a few surprises.

Soak in the knowledge

Whatever your preferred learning style, we have something for you. If you prefer business focused solution overviews, join us at the Dell Booth Theatre (1211 Moscone South) where we are hosting in booth theatre presentations that provide new product information as well as best practices for optimizing your Oracle environment. Please visit the booth for the complete session schedule.

If hands-on learning is more your style, you can join us in the booth where you can see and touch live product demonstrations or you can visit the RAC Attack learning center sponsored by the Independent Oracle User Group (IOUG). There, you can participate in hands-on workshops designed specifically for system administrators. Finally, if in-depth is the only way to go for you, take a look at our conference session line up where we have technical presentations and how-to sessions for streamlining and optimizing your Oracle implementation.

Be the first to know

The biggest events are always covered by the press and social media so if you just can’t make it to Oracle Open World, you can catch Michael Dell’s keynote via live stream from the Oracle Open World conference site.
