Building tomorrow’s converged infrastructure today at Cisco Live!

Next week, thousands will descend upon San Diego hoping for a glimpse of the future of IT. Cisco will be hosting its annual Cisco Live! conference in sunny Southern California, where IT decision-makers will have front row seats to discover the technology that will impact the IT environments of tomorrow. Between the Internet of Things, Software-defined Networking and the growth of cloud computing, IT environments are becoming increasingly complicated but converged infrastructure from VCE provides the simplified environments that allows today’s IT pros to prepare for tomorrow’s innovations. We are excited to illustrate just how we are doing this at next week’s show!

Since our inception, Cisco has played an important role in helping us pioneer the converged infrastructure market. This continues today as VCE’s cornerstone offering Vblock Systems – which are exclusively Cisco UCS servers and Nexus Data Center Switches – are playing a key role in driving growth for our company. As we move up the stack to include management, orchestration, new applications and an expanded portfolio of platforms, Cisco continues to be an important partner in enabling VCE to deliver complete solutions in an accelerated timeframe, allowing our customers to be nimble and address current market trends. The newly announced Vscale Architecture is built on Cisco spine and leaf, and serves as the building blocks for what we see as the data center of the future. Through VCE’s expanded offerings, customers have more options than ever in how they choose to deploy the latest Cisco innovations. VCE solutions are ACI and InterCloud-ready, and offer IT departments an impressively simplified path to SDN and the cloud.

If you are lucky enough to be joining us in San Diego next week, we invite you to visit our booth (#1801) on the show floor for a first-hand look at the latest from VCE. Be sure to stop by any one of our four information kiosks or sit in on a theater presentation in the booth to gain knowledge about VCE Foundation for Cisco UCSD, the VCE Vscale Architecture, VCE Vision Intelligent Operations and Policy Defined Converged Infrastructure. We also have some great sessions planned – at the booth and elsewhere around the conference – that you won’t want to miss, including:

  • At 4:30pm on Tuesday (6/9) in the Cisco Campus Theater, Dave Hayward will discuss the agility afforded through the VCE Vscale architecture. In a time of flux, a highly flexible data-center infrastructure is required to adapt to business change without compromising availability, security, operational simplicity or total cost of ownership.
  • VCE’s Steve Phillips is presenting a breakout session on Wednesday (6/10) from 3:30 – 4:30pm at 11B Upper Level – H on how the Vblock System architecture enables an accelerated time to market with increased application mobility and simplified management for the hybrid cloud. VCE is also participating in a Chalk Talk in the Cisco booth on Tuesday at 3:30 – 3:40pm.
  • On Tuesday, June 9 at 11:30am on the East/West Mezzanine Outdoor Terrace, 2nd Floor – Table 33 – Keith Quebodeaux is leading a Table Topic talk on the Vscale Architecture and its use of ACI to provide a revolutionary approach for IT and business transformation. The power of ACI coupled with the industry-leading VCE lifecycle and management and support ultimately leads to an unparalleled customer experience.

Cisco Live! is one of the industry’s best chances to glance into the future of networking, and we are excited to showcase how the world’s most advanced converged solutions help organizations accelerate their journey towards the cloud. Through our work with Cisco, customers can completely transform their business through IT. We hope to see you there!
