  • Dr. Alan Hocknell Sr. Vice President, Research & Development, Callaway Golf

    Dr. Alan Hocknell

    Sr. Vice President, Research & Development

    Dr. Alan Hocknell was appointed to his current position of Sr. Vice President, Research & Development, Callaway Golf, in August 2009. In this role, he is primarily responsible for charting the Company’s product innovation and design strategies across all equipment categories, inclusive of clubs, balls and electronic devices. Hocknell also leads the operational and technical direction of the Innovation team and implements Callaway’s creative designs and technologies.

    Dr. Hocknell’s ascension within the research and development area of the Company has been swift and steady. After joining Callaway Golf in March 1998 as an Experimental Engineer, he was promoted to Senior Research Engineer in March 1999, Manager of Advanced Technology in November 2001, Senior Manager of Advanced Technology in July 2002, Director of Product Design November 2003, Senior Director, Product Design & Engineering in March 2004.

    Prior to leaving his native England to join Callaway Golf, Alan was a Research Assistant in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Loughborough University in Leicestershire, England, where much of his project work focused on the experimental analysis and computational modeling of golf club impact. Alan holds a doctorate in Engineering Mechanics from Loughborough and a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering and Management from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine in London.

    Alan, his wife Michele and their two children live in Carlsbad.

  • Chinh Van, Senior Director of IT, Callaway Golf

    Senior Director of IT

    Chinh Van has been the Senior Director of IT for Callaway Golf since June, 2006.

    In this capacity, Chinh is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company’s Servers, Network, Telephony, Software, Backup and Recovery, and data center operations. He is also responsible for the company’s SAP ERP systems and databases.

    Chinh has over 25 years’ experience in the IT industry with in-depth knowledge of operating systems, programming, databases, and various ERP software. Prior to joining Callaway, Chinh has worked in engineering and IT related fields in government, retail, food, and consumer product industries.

    Chinh earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado in 1990. He currently resides in San Diego with his wife and four kids.

    Harry Arnett is Senior Vice President, Marketing and has served in that role since joining Callaway Golf in June 2012. In this position, Mr. Arnett assumes leadership of the Company’s global marketing, communications and go-to-market functions. Arnett joins Callaway Golf with extensive golf industry experience. He most recently held the position of Vice President of Global Marketing, TaylorMade, adidas, and Ashworth Golf; he joined TaylorMade in January 2007. In addition, he has held a marketing leadership role at Russell Corporation. Mr. Arnett earned an MBA from Duke University after completing his undergraduate studies at Emory University in Atlanta.

    Harry, his wife Kim and 2 children live in Carlsbad.

  • Sai Koorapati, Vice President, Global Information Technology, Callaway Golf

    Vice President, Global Information Technology

    Sai Koorapati is Vice President, Global Information Technology, Mr. Koorapati is responsible for all areas of Callaway Technology services including ERP Services (Sales, Distribution, Finance and Supply Chain), PLM, R&D Services, Customer Facing applications, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Development, IT Infrastructure, Information Security & Compliance and Global support services. Prior to joining Callaway, Mr. Koorapati held leadership roles in Technology and Operations at Golf, ERP Consulting and Automobile industries, including TaylorMade adidas golf, Gathering Storm Holdings, Triniti Corporation, Bosch (India). Mr. Koorapati earned his Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from NITIE, India and Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Andhra University, India.

    Sai, his wife Madhavi and their two children live in Ladera Ranch.

    Senior Vice President, Global Operations

    Mark Leposky is Senior Executive Vice President, Global Operations and has served in such capacity since April 2012. Mr. Leposky is responsible for all areas of Callaway Golf's global manufacturing, program management, sourcing and logistics operations and strategy. Prior to joining Callaway, Mr. Leposky held leadership roles at growing consumer products companies in and out of the golf industry, including Gathering Storm Holdings, Fisher Scientific International, TaylorMade Adidas Golf Company, The Coca Cola Company and United Parcel Service.

    Mark, his wife Julie and their two children live in Carlsbad.

  • Zohreh Alaghemand, Senior Director, Global ERP Solutions, Callaway Golf

    Zohreh Alaghemand

    Senior Director, Global ERP Solutions

    Zohreh has 20+ years experience in software implementations leadership positions. Her first role was as a Business Consultant, before spending 10 years at Unisys as an IT Supply Chain Manager. Zohreh has extensive experience managing large scale projects. One such project is with Callaway Golf, where she has spent the last 20 years. Zohreh’s first role at Callaway was as an SAP Snr Analyst, working her way up to the present Snr Director role. During her tenure at Callaway she has successfully managed and deployed SAP globally on one global instance. Zohreh earned a bachelor degree in Business Administration and master degree in Information Systems from San Diego State University.

  • Colleen Cormier, EMC Corporation

    Colleen Cormier

    District Manager for the Commercial Division

    Colleen Cormier joined EMC in 2005, as a Sales Representative for the Commercial Division. She has held various customer facing sales positions throughout her tenure at EMC. For the last four years, Colleen has held the positon of District Manager for the Commercial Division of EMC - within the San Diego and Orange County market place. In this role, she is responsible for all areas of the District including developing and leading sales and technical teams to deliver world class Enterprise Hardware and Software solutions to help EMC customers enable their business through technology. Colleen joined the EMC Callaway team 2 years ago. She has enjoyed working with their team of passionate seasoned professionals, as they embrace the changing landscape of IT and continually strive for excellence.

    Sr. Systems Engineer

    Chris is originally from San Diego, he has been working in the San Diego Enterprise IT space over the industries of: transportation, healthcare, manufacturing, education, and hospitalities for the last 15 Years. Through the good fortune of having forged strong relationships and critical experiences in these fields, Chris sees the varying challenges, requirements, and deliverables from a multitude of levels. Leveraging these experiences helps paint the full picture of technical capabilities and integration points, critical to bringing goals to fruition for each company. Helping understand these challenges when overlaid with business objectives and leadership goals - is particularly what Chris enjoys doing most and he loves what he does!

    Michael, originally from Massachusetts, has been with EMC for almost 5 years in various sales roles. Mike played golf at Loyola College in Maryland, which gives him a unique perspective on the golf industry and Callaway’s target customers. Prior to EMC, he spent the early part of his career working at Cisco Systems learning the technology industry. At EMC, Mike focuses on business outcomes and helping align customer challenges and needs with EMC’s portfolio of technology and solutions. Mike now covers a small list of companies with the goal of providing comprehensive solutions across multiple lines of business for his customers.
