Rahul Dravid is widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen in the history of Cricket. He is the fourth-highest run scorer in Test Cricket & is only the third cricketer to score 10,000 runs, both in Tests & in ODIs.
He has been honoured with the Padma Shri & the Padma Bhushan awards for his commendable contributions. His brilliant career on field led him to be the captain of the Rajasthan Royals in IPL (2012) and he was also appointed as the chairman of International Cricket Council (ICC)'s cricket committee, in the same year. In collaboration with ‘GoSports Foundation’, he is now mentoring India's future Olympians & Paralympians as part of the Rahul Dravid Athlete Mentorship Programme. He was also the coach of the Men’s Under-19 Cricket Team and is currently the Head of Cricket at NCA.
