After completing our rollout in the US, Canada, and Mexico, Dell Cloud Services is formally launching our European service with our first datacenter in Slough, UK. This public/hybrid cloud is now available to customers in the UK, France, and Ireland with other European country availability being added over the new few months.
In addition, Dell Cloud Service solutions are available through the Channel in the US, Canada, UK, and Ireland for partners in the PartnerDirect Program enabling them to build, provide, and enable Dell Cloud Services into their business.
European customers looking for assistance in determining a cloud roadmap can leverage Dell’s Virtualization and Cloud Computing consulting services with a Cloud Readiness Assessment (CRA) offering a customized analysis of Dell Cloud Services impact on your business.
New Offerings
Dell also announced two new solutions for enterprise cloud customers:
- Dell Cloud Dedicated
- Dell Cloud Management Console
Dell Cloud Dedicated is the latest offering based on our VMware infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud providing customers a private cloud service managed within a secure Dell datacenter. Assigning individual servers, storage, and networking Dell Cloud Dedicated delivers customers the privacy and security of a private cloud at a significantly reduced price instantly without building a new cloud in your own datacenter.
In early September, Dell customers in the United States can order Dell Cloud Services online from our online Dell Cloud Management Console. This console provides instant online ordering capabilities for Dell Cloud Services so customers can meet their immediate business needs and simply scale as they grow.
