Telecom Self-Certification with Next Generation PowerEdge Servers

Become Dell Technologies Telecom Certified with our new next-generation PowerEdge server Self-Certification test lines.

We’re excited to announce the availability of our new Dell Technologies PowerEdge R760 Intel-based server test lines for our Telecom Partner Self-Certification program. These servers are the latest addition to our portfolio of cloud-native solutions that enable independent software vendors (ISVs) and network equipment providers (NEPs) to accelerate the adoption of open, cloud-native technologies for 5G and edge computing.

As part of our commitment to drive the open and modern telecom ecosystem, Dell Technologies Telecom Partner Self-Certification program provides a low-touch, automated program for ISVs and NEPs to certify their software on our hardware platforms with leading cloud platform providers. The program gives you access to our Open Telecom Ecosystem Lab (OTEL), where you can test your software on our latest telecom equipment using predefined test cases and scenarios. Once you successfully complete the self-certification process, you will receive the official “Dell Technologies Telecom Certified” badge, which signifies the validation of key test capabilities CSPs require – giving them assurance the software is compatible with and ready for stable deployment on Dell Technologies telecom platforms.

We first introduced the Dell PowerEdge R760 servers at the Mobile World Congress 2023 in Barcelona in February, where we showcased their capabilities for supporting the challenges of today’s IT environments, especially in the areas of 5G, edge computing and cloud-native applications. The Dell PowerEdge R760 servers are based on the latest 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processor, which provide performance and versatility as needed to address demanding applications and workloads. Additionally, these servers feature advanced cooling and power efficiency technologies enabling them to operate in demanding environments and reduce operational costs.

The Dell PowerEdge server portfolio is available in various form factors and configurations, ranging from rack, tower and multi-node systems, to suit different use cases and workloads. Whether you need high-performance computing, massive data storage or flexible scalability, you can find a Dell PowerEdge server that meets your requirements. You can also customize your server with a wide range of options, such as GPUs, DPUs, NICs and storage options.

With the availability of the latest PowerEdge servers in our Self-Certification test lines, the Telecom Partner Self-Certification program gives ISVs and NEPs the ability to extend their labs into ours and validate their software on our latest hardware platforms. If you are interested in participating in this program, please fill out this form to start the process. You will need to provide some basic information about your company and your software product, as well as sign an NDA and a lab access agreement with us. After that, you will be able to access our secure portal and start the self-certification testing.

We are thrilled to offer you the opportunity to join our telecom partner community and leverage our new Dell PowerEdge R760 servers for your software development and deployment. By working together, we can create cloud-native, standards-based open telecom ecosystem solutions that will unleash the full potential of 5G and beyond.  Start your journey to become Dell Technologies Telecom Certified today!
